ArtVantage Dance Scholarship Application


Hello, and thank you for your interest in ArtVantage, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering elementary and middle school students through the arts. Our program offers exciting opportunities for young learners to explore dance and tumbling in a supportive, creative, and structured environment.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Eligibility: ArtVantage is open to toddlers and students currently enrolled in a local daycares and or preschools,  elementary or middle school. Students must be in good academic and behavioral standing with their school to be considered.


Class Schedule: Weekly classes are held throughout each session.

Sessions start Mid September 2026- August 2027

Participation in the recital is mandatory, and students may not miss more than one class per session to remain eligible.


Classes are held on:

Monday 5:20pm Ballet ages 2-4

Monday 6:30pm Hip Hop ages 9+

Tuesdays 6:30pm-Hip Hop Ages 5-8

Thursday 5:40pm- Ballet Ages 2-4

Saturdays 12:30pm- Ballet- Ages 5-8



Program Fee (Scholarship-Based): ArtVantage operates through a scholarship model, meaning the program cost is covered by our nonprofit.

Families are asked to contribute a $75 participation fee due in September 2026 & February 2027.


A REGISTRATION FEE IS MANDATORY FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS 

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST ALSO SHOW PROOF OF NEED OF PROGRAM. MUST SHOW PROOF OF MEDICAID, SNAP BENEFITS OR TAX RETURNS.


Ongoing Participation & Rolling Admission Policy

Families interested in continuing with ArtVantage beyond a single session may apply for rolling admission, which requires:

  • 90% attendance or better

  • Participation in both annual recitals (December and June)

  • Active involvement in fundraisers to support the program

  • A volunteer commitment from a parent/guardian to support events and demonstrate dedication to our nonprofit’s mission

All applications will be reviewed based on program eligibility, availability, and the needs and goals of the applicant. Selection is not automatic and is subject to the availability of scholarship spaces.


Our goal is to ensure that the program is a mutually beneficial fit for both the participant and our organization. Applicants may be contacted for additional information or an interview as part of the selection process. Acceptance into the program will be determined at the discretion of the program administrators.
